Qigoing Module C

This module is ongoing development and training for

Advanced Session Leaders and Session Instructors.

At this stage in the training pathway, every one will be at a different stage and have gained different understanding, based on their experiences and practice.

The dates listed below are for the weekend face to face training sessions.

You may prefer to book a private session instead, which can be face to face or on-line.

This training brings together all of the concepts from the Qigong Module B,  Energy Module B & Body Alignment Module B and builds that knowledge to explore deeper levels and advanced versions of the Shibashi Qigong Movements.

All Advanced Session Leaders and Session Instructors are welcome to attend this module to gain the further knowledge for their own learning, however only those who are delivering regular sessions will be able to be assessed to gain higher certification.

Session Instructor higher certification will be awarded to Advanced Session Leaders once the knowledge, concepts and understanding can be demonstrated as being integrated into daily practice.

Those who have opted for private on-line sessions can enjoy learning in this way but will need to attend a face to face session to be assessed for higher certification.

Lungs may breath deeper, the heart may beat under less stress, the digestive system may function more efficiently. Other areas such as the reproductive system, may become more balanced through all stages of the life cycle. Skin may begin to glow and the eyes sparkle.

Having only 6 movements, it is easy to remember!

This short set is a useful addition to the 18 Qigong Movement, when time is restricted or attendees are unable to cope with a longer set.

The six movements can be practiced individually and do not need to be part of a set

This training is about adapting and delivering the 18 Qigong movements to those who may need to sit for some or all of the session, while they recover from illness, accidents, fatigue or life exhaustion.

The health benefits of the movements are explored in depth.

Qigong is an ancient health art but there has never been a time in its history where people, with limited experience of qigong and its background culture, decide to learn at later stages in life and some with health problems.

Originally this art was taught to people at a very young age so health was maintained. If and when they become unwell or injured they would have had years of previous experience, practice and knowledge and know how to adapt the qigong movements to suit their condition. Traditional teaching methods were never needed to be questioned.

In modern day Western life, where we are living longer, people with limited or no experience are turning to learn this ancient health art to experience the benefits. Unfortunately, many already have health issues and/or joint discomfort.

The traditional methods of teaching this ancient health art are no longer suitable.

From many years of experience and working with people of all ages and abilities we have adapted our teaching methods so that the people who attend our sessions gain the maximum benefits from the movements. We have maintained all of the traditional principles but have made the knowledge accessible and applicable to modern people who live in a modern world and have limited experience or understanding of Qigong.

A seated Qigong set is not an easy or 'lazy' option. Those willing to practice may achieve great health rewards, giving them access to more independence and a fuller life. It is not only the elderly who may benefit. Accidents, injury and illness happen to people of all ages.

Successful completion of the 2 -days results in a Foundation certifciate.

We continue the training and support afterwards by offering individual  on-line or face to face support sessions to achieve full certification.

8 Pieces of the Brocade, also known as Ba Duan Jin, was created around 1140 AD, during the Song dynasty, by the army general Marshal Yue Fei to keep his soldiers strong and in good shape for harsh, long battles.

Ba Duan Jin has a history of over 800 years and would have been originally passed down by word of mouth, resulting in the variartions seen movements today.

During this module we will explore the structure, essence and principles behind the movements and explore some of the variations.

This set is physically demanding and contains complex techniques. The information delivered, practically and theoretically, within this module will complement and enhance what you have already learned in previous Qigong instructor courses and modules, developing your understanding to a deeper level.

Successful completion of the 4-days results in a Foundation certifciate.

We continue the training and support afterwards by offering individual  on-line or face to face support sessions to achieve full certification.
